Take advantage of the new B.E.R.T.TM
(Business Emergency Response Team) training. After the numerous
hurricanes, September 11, and many other events, ICATS developed
a program specifically for business and industry to develop a response
team to prepare and handle such events. The program not allows your
personnel to respond during events but trains them to prepare and
recover from major events. The program is designed that the coursework
can be used on a daily basis so you are ready for the big event
should it ever come.
Day One - First Aid - 8 hours
Day Two - Fire and emergency response - 8 hours
Day Three - NIMS and incident command for businesses -
8 hours
Day Four - Planning and recovery parts I and II - 8 hours
Day Five - Planning and recovery part III - 4 hours
Day Five - Final Drill - 4 hours
First Aid and CPR - 8 hour
A basic training course in emergency care. Essential skills of Patient
Care are combined with CPR into one 8 hour course which allows one
consistent set of priorities of care and approach to the patient
used by professionals. This program satisfies OSHA requirements
for industry, business, government agencies, and the community.
Courses are offered in English, Spanish, Russian, and Japanese.
Note: First Aid Programs are available in a variety of other areas
involving Pediatric, Sports Medicine, and Advanced.
CPR - 3.5 hour
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation course(s) that follow national standards
as prescribed by the American Heart Association. Programs are available
for Professional and Layperson responders in Adult, Child, and Infant
skills.
Bloodborne Pathogens - 2 hour
This program provides an understanding of all provisions of regulations
and procedures that must be followed to comply with your locations
exposure control plan. This course meets the requirements of OSHA
29 CFR 1910.1030.
Health & Safety for Hazwoper - 40 hour
This 40 hour course consists of classroom and hands-on training,
and is designed to meet the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120.
This course is required for anyone employed as Hazardous Waste Site
Workers. Also persons of Health & Safety Concerns, Environmental
Engineers, Laborers, Environmental Consultants, Equipment Operators,
etc. will be required to have certification when entering a hazardous
waste site, or when working with hazardous materials.
Annual Refresher for Hazwoper - 8 hour
This 8 hour course is designed to meet the requirements of OSHA
29 CFR 1910.120. Subject matter is intended to refresh site workers
in subject matter not commonly used, and keep site workers, managers,
consultants, etc., on top of ever changing regulatory affairs.
Permit Required Confined Space - 8 hour
This 8 hour course consists of classroom and hands-on training,
and is designed to meet the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910-146.
This course is required for those who intend to work in, around
or supervise permit required confined space operations
